Basement Flooding Restoration in Abbotsford, BC
Clearbrook has the basements. Full lower levels, often a suite, and a floor drain that backs up when the street system is surcharged.
Sumas Prairie ranchers frequently have no basement. Sending a basement crew to a slab house to 'do the lower level' is how the wrong floor gets torn up.
Basement jobs in Abbotsford are run by the same Langley water damage restoration crew. The slab gets dried before anyone talks about putting the room back together.
Surcharged drains in Clearbrook
The water comes up the floor drain, brown, and it has touched every porous finish it reached. Containment first. Then the pad, the lower board, and a cleaned slab.
Suites under Mill Lake houses
A finished suite means a tenant and a ceiling that is also the upstairs floor. We dry both sides of that assembly.
What Sumas needs instead
If your Abbotsford house is slab-on-grade on the prairie, the flood is the floor you walk on. We say so and change the scope. We do not invent a basement.

Questions from this area
Basement Flooding in Abbotsford: common questions
Our Sumas house has no stairs down. Did we call the wrong trade?
You called the right company. The scope will be the slab and the walls, not a basement gut.
Is a Clearbrook backup covered?
Sewer backup is often an endorsement. We document the drain and the water line. Your insurer decides.
How high do you cut a Clearbrook suite?
To dry board and dry insulation, often around two feet on a drain that sat at the floor, higher if it wicked.
